Job Description:
This position acts as the bridge between our clients' businesses and our ERP system, working directly with clients to understand how their operations run and translating that understanding into a well-configured, effective system. The role involves meeting with clients to analyze their business processes, recommending how static data should be captured and structured, and defining the correct configuration of the ERP to match each client's workflows. When a client's needs go beyond standard configuration, this person scopes and defines the requirements for custom system extensions, working closely with developers to ensure what gets built matches the business need, without writing code themselves. Because every client operates differently, the role requires the ability to quickly learn the fundamentals of a new industry, see how that business's processes map onto the ERP, and clearly explain technical or system-specific concepts to non-technical stakeholders in plain language.
Job Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to gather, document, and analyze current business processes and workflows
- Identify and recommend approaches for static/master data capture and structure
- Manage the configuration of ERP systems correctly based on each client's operational needs
- Define scope and detailed requirements for custom system extensions, acting as liaison between client and development team (without performing programming work)
- Translate technical or ERP-specific terminology into clear, accessible language for clients
- Quickly learn the operational fundamentals of new and unfamiliar industries
- Map a client's real-world business operations onto ERP functionality to identify digitization opportunities
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in a client's current processes and propose system-based solutions
- Document configuration decisions, requirements, and process recommendations clearly for internal and client reference
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, developers, and internal teams throughout implementation
- Manage multiple client engagements and shifting priorities simultaneously
Job Requirements:
- University degree in engineering, financial accounting, business, or a related field
- Minimum 5-years experience in ERP or other business software implementation or consulting
- Advanced proficiency in:
- Analysis and documentation of business processes
- ERP systems and core business functions (e.g., finance, inventory, operations, procurement)
- Software design, development, and quality management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work directly and professionally with external clients
- Comfortable learning new business domains and industries independently and efficiently
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency with standard business software (e.g., MS Office/Excel)
